This is a joyful day of music, local food, and celebration of your creativity—and the pollinators that inspire us all.

🎨 About the Silent Auction

Several contestants have generously donated their art to be auctioned in support of the Lyons Pollinator Corridor Project—a connected network of native gardens and living classrooms across town.

Your bids help fund:

  • 🎽 Creation of T-shirts, stickers, and other swag featuring contest artwork
  • 🌱 Connected neighborhood pollinator gardens (plants, soil, irrigation, signage)
  • 📚 Educational events and workshops for kids, families, and the community

When you win a piece, you’re taking home original local art and investing in ecological health right here in Lyons.

💻 How Bidding Works (via Givebutter)

We’re running the auction through Givebutter so you can bid from your phone or computer and get outbid notifications in real time.

  1. Visit the Auction Page: Click “Bid Now” below.
  2. Register Once: Enter your name, email, and (optionally) phone to get outbid alerts.
  3. Browse & Bid: View artwork, place bids, or set a max bid to let Givebutter auto-bid for you.
  4. Stay Notified: Receive email/text alerts if you’re outbid or as items near closing.
  5. Win & Pay: Winners are notified at close and pay securely on Givebutter. Pickup/delivery details follow.

Note on fees: Givebutter is donor-supported. You will see an optional tip to Givebutter at checkout (you can edit or remove it).

If you participated in the contest and would like to donate your piece to the auction (thank you!):

  • Reply to the invitation email confirming “I’m donating my piece,” or
  • Email Tyler@simplybeeconservation.org with your name, artwork title.
